Sunday afternoon at SSJ saw our Midget LL Ice Devils come out strong but unfortunately unable to hold the lead, eventually losing an 8-3 tilt to the Bears of South Muskoka.
Almaguin got on the board first as Dennis Luckasavitch sent Ice Devils Captain Sab Patterson in alone for the game's opening goal, only to see South Muskoka strike back a couple minutes later, before taking the lead again on Patterson's 2nd of the game, from Wyatt Stetler and Aidan Carleton.
With Patterson off for cross-checking, the Bears would tie the game in the early stages of the 2nd and net another 3 in the frame to take a commanding 6-2 lead to the final period.
Sabastian Patterson would complete his hat-trick mid-way through the 3rd, but South Muskoka were able to add two more to make the final a disappointing 8-3.
