The Almaguin Ice Devils Midget Rep team had a very busy but undefeated week after a week off with 3 games. See "rest of article"
They started out mid-week on Wednesday up in North Bay with a win of 4-0. First two goals were for Sam Baker-Pauley. Followed up by a goal for Evan Stillar and goal for Bryson Holituk. Friday night was an excitement filled bit of redemption for the Ice Devils against local rivals "Huntsville Otters" with a win of 2-1. Lots of family and friends packed the big ice on the Don Lough in Huntsville to see these two go head to head once again. Tyler Smith smoked one in to start us off from the blue line. The next goal was for Aidan Anger to finish us off with this very satisfying win. The determination these two teams have to defeat each other this season will continue to have everyone on the edge of our seats. Making for some very good and certainly not boring hockey. Saturday had the Midgets in Bracebridge to play the South Muskoka Bears. With our third win of the weekend. A score of 5-2. This game led the scoring off with Riley Earl. Goal number 2 was a special goal for the girl on our team Jerico Arsenault, scoring her "first ever" goal playing with the boys in Midget Rep. Goal 3 was Aidan Anger followed with goal 4 Evan Stillar and the game winning goal 5 was sent home by Tyler Smith. Come out Tuesday evening to watch us play North Bay @ Sundridge Arena at 8:20pm. Next weekend the Midgets are off to the Muskoka Rock Tournament in Port Carling.
