One up, One down....
Another busy weekend had the Peewee Ice Devils on the ice both Saturday and Sunday with vastly different results!

Saturday was an early one as the team was on the road by 7 am for a 9:10 game start at the Canada Summit Centre in Huntsville against Huntsville Main Street Dental. The “big ice” of the Don Lough Arena gave lots of room for skating and the back-and-forth action started right away.  Huntsville opened the scoring mid-way through the 1st and added another a couple minutes later to take an early 2-0 lead.  Despite some chances and three hit goal posts, the Devils were unable to score as the period ended in favour of the home team.

Connor McLaren, followed by Markus Krajinovic found the back of the net in the 2nd and both completed the same pattern in the 3rd, Mclaren followed by Krajinovic.  Krajinovic’s goal was of highlight as he jumped on a rebound following a nice Ethan McLaren point shot to complete the comeback and see the team head home with a 4-3, come from behind victory. Of note also was the excellent passing all game long, highlighted by 3 assists from Hayden Snow.

On Sunday The West Ferris Trappers Peewee’s made the trip from North Bay to South River for an Exhibition game and the Ice Devils were not able to get things going, dropping the contest by a disappointing score of 6-3
