Parents take it on the chin in annual "Red & White" Christmas Clash, News, Bantam LL, 2018/2019 (Almaguin Minor Hockey)

The most anticipated game of the season took place this past Wednesday evening at SSJ Arena in Sundridge as the Bantam LL Ice Devils Coaches & Parents took on the Players in the annual "Red & White" Christmas Clash.

Hopes were high as the parents took the ice but age quickly became a factor (about 3 minutes in) as the older legs and lungs appeared to falter...

Despite a year (or more) of rest the parents were unable to overcome the skill on display by the kids, skill no doubt learned from their coaches.  In the end, the players skated away with a hard fought and definitely fun filled 11-8 win.

A huge thank you to all involved in making the evening a success including referees Aidan Carleton and Tyler Smith, cookie baker Melissa Hancocks, players coach Serena Wager, Pizza prepper Becki Carleton and photographer Tamara Brash.
