2017-2018 HOCKEY IN ALMAGUIN
Submitted By Christy Sollman on Saturday, March 11, 2017
In response to the recent article in the North Bay Nipissing News, Almaguin Minor Hockey would like to reassure our membership that we are working hard on the appeal to OMHA regarding their reclassification of AMHA to Local League.  We have not publicized the information about this reclassification as we are still in conversation with the OMHA.  We were not approached by the media about this and would not have approved the peremptory sharing of this information, much of which is speculation only.

In regards to next season, Local League will run status quo.  We also feel confident in our ability to offer a Rep System in Almaguin for those interested and will share info on this as soon as we have definite answers.

For now please remember our Online registration opens on April 1, 2017 and the best service you can do is register early to allow our hard working team of Executive members to plan for the upcoming year with keeping hockey alive and well in Almaguin a continued priority.

We appreciate our memberships commitment to AMHA and for their patience while we work through this hurdle.
