Ice Devil Games Update for U9-U18
Submitted By Cathy McNichol on Saturday, November 7, 2020
Hello Ice Devils Families,

The AMHA Executive has been able to get our U9-U18 teams set up within a bubble to play games. Our bubble will consist of games against our own teams and with Powassan and East Nipissing depending on the age groups. As per Municipality regulations we will be allowed to have 1 parent per player into the South River-Machar and SSJ Arenas to watch the games. Bench Staff will count as the 1 parent allowed in the arena.

Practice procedures that have been put in place since the beginning of the year will remain the same.

We as the AMHA Executive would like to remind all parents that being allowed into the arenas to watch games is a great privilege. We ask that you respect the policies and procedures that have been set forth by all facilities we will be allowed to enter. Please keep in mind that we will have to wear masks and keep social distancing of 6ft as part of the privilege to go and watch our children play this awesome game that we all enjoy.

We are still working with our facilities on policies and procedures on the logistics of getting spectators/parents in and out of the arena.  We hope to have this early next week and will post it on our website.

Games will start the week of Nov 8th and run until Dec 20th.  Each team will have 6 games scheduled and we hope to have them posted on our website by the end of the weekend.

Coaching staff will be reaching out to all participants to let them know what teams they will be on.

Thank you,
Don McNichol, AMHA President
