Tyke, 2015-2016 Season (Almaguin Minor Hockey)

Our Tyke Tournament was a huge success!  Thank you to all of our volunteers for your help in making the day so much fun for the kids. Yes, we said the "s" word!   Our fabulous Tyke goalie, Jack Hrabb earned a shut-out during Saturday's game against Huntsville with Nate MacIntosh scoring the team's only goal of the day early in the first period resulting in a 1-0 win for the Ice Devils. Back to home ice for our next game on February 12th in Sundridge.

Another exciting game for our Almaguin Tykes resulting in a 1-1 tie against Muskoka Rock. The teams were evenly matched throughout the game with both teams scoring their first (and only goals) in the 3rd period.  With just over 2 minutes left in the third Muskoka Rock scored the first goal of the game only to be matched by Almaguin's number 8, Sean Hill.  Sean's goal was assisted by Nate MacIntosh to end the game in a tie. Great job team!

Our Almaguin Ice Devils played a good game today against the Huntsville Otters Tyke Select team.  Despite home ice advantage our Tykes lost the game with an 8-1 score. Goaltender Jack Hrabb put forth a fantastic effort and made some awesome saves for the team.  Our lone goal was scored in the 3rd period by number 8, Nate MacIntosh and assisted by number 11, Jackson Thomas.   Well played game guys!
