The U11 Rep Ice Devils were in Niagara on the Lake this weekend competing in the Harvest Classic.
The Ice Devils finished tied for first place with a 3-0-0 record after the round robin with wins over Thorold, Caledon and Kawartha. In the Semi Finals, the Ice Devils came out flying, knocking off a very strong Fort Erie team 4-1. In the finals the Ice Devils squared off against East Lambton. After a scoreless first period, the Ice Devils would strike in the second period to go up 1-0. In the third period the Devils exploded with 4 goals to win the game 5-1.
It was a great team effort from the entire Ice Devils team all weekend, surrendering only 6 goals in 5 games. Ice Devils Captain Carter Forde was awarded the tournament MVP award and led the tournament in scoring with an impressive 13 goal performance over the 5 games.
