Peewee Local League, 2015-2016 Season (Almaguin Minor Hockey)

We were so close to a win today with a game full of back and forth goals against CC Tatham in Sundridge.   All of our goals were absolutely "beautiful" starting with our first scored by #9 Tyler Haggart and assisted by #11 Connor McLaren and #4 Dylan Watt.  Goals number 2, 3 and 4 were scored by #12 Brayden Moore, #8 Andrew Hill and then another by Brayden to end our second period in a 4-4 tie. All three of our third period goals were scored by our Captain, #16 Everett Truchon with an assist on his first by Brayden and his second by Connor Mc.  Sadly CC Tatham had one more in them to ...

A three goal third was enough to propel the Parry Sound Shamrocks to a 6-3 win over our PeeWee Ice Devils on Saturday afternoon at the Bobby Orr Community Centre in Parry Sound. 

A really close game this weekend for our Peewees against Huntsville CCV, losing the game with a score of 2-1.  Our single goal was scored in the second period by #18 Liam Madden which tied up the game but, unfortunately, Huntsville had one more in them and the win was not meant to be ours. Next up.......road trip!  Our Peewees will be attending the Bradford Blue and Gold tournament this coming weekend so, "fingers crossed"!!!

Home ice advantage worked it's magic again this weekend for our Peewee Ice Devils resulting in an 11-3 victory over South Muskoka Giant Tiger. With the goals spread out evenly between all three periods, number 11 Connor McLaren lit up the rink with four of our 11 goals for the day.  Number 9, Tyler Haggart and number 16, Everett Truchon each scored two and Dylan Watt, Liam Madden and Cliff Loucks all had one apiece.  Great team work can be attributed to all goals.  Good work Peewees!
