Big Win in Huntsville!
An early start Saturday morning in Huntsville saw lots of energy in Almaguin legs leading to a much deserved 8-4 win on the strength of four Liam Madden goals.
Almaguin would open the scoring on Captain Everett Truchon's unassisted goal and would go on to tally three times in the first (goals by Tyler Haggart, Hailey Kincaid and Liam Madden) to take a 4-0 lead to the end of the first. The two teams would trade goals in the second with Almaguin's marker coming off the stick of Liam Madden. CCV would manage to net two in the third but Almaguin again had an answer with three of their own with goals from Truchon (with his second of the game) before Madden with his third and fourth rounded out the scoring.
Almaguin assists of the day went to Everett Truchon, Abby Cox-Zamaria, Sascha Boyes and Brayden Moore with two.
Josh dePeuter had a big game in net to help earn the win.
A hardworking game by all.
