Atom Local League, 2016-2017 Season (Almaguin Minor Hockey)

On Dec. 3, the Atom Almaguin Ice Devils team travelled to Bracebridge to face South Muskoka HRC Insurance.

The Almaguin Atom Ice Devils won their first game of the season in Huntsville on Saturday night, defeating a skilled Huntsville Tasso Lake team 4-3 – the same team that bested the Devils 7-4 the last time the two met. In a hard-fought come-from-behind win, Hayley Robins scored her first goal with only 3:45 left in the third to tie the game 3-3. Then, backed by some solid goaltending and a strong defensive core, Nathan Wuori grabbed the lead scoring his 3rd of the game with only 22.5 seconds remaining.
