Novice Dec 3 and 4 Games
The Novice Ice Devils had a busy
weekend with games on both Saturday and Sunday.
The team was on the
road bright and early Saturday morning to face South Muskoka’s
Middaugh Masonry
in Bracebridge.
The Ice Devils took an early lead scoring twice in the first period. We were up 4 to 0 half way through the 2nd when South Muskoka made the board. During the 3rd period the team added 2 more goals, giving the Novice team a win, with a final score of 6 to 1. Sunday saw the Novice Ice Devils host the Huntsville Near North team at the Sundridge Strong arena. At the end of the 1st period, neither team had been able to score. During the 2nd period both teams were able to make it on the board. Going into the 3rd tied 1 to 1, the Novice team worked hard to score 2 more goals giving them a win of, 3 to 1, when the final buzzer went. It was a competitive game where the Novice team had their work cut out for them to bring this win home! The Novice Ice Devils continue to be undefeated this season and will host South Muskoka’s Wes Finch & Sons December 10 in Burks Falls.
