Ice Devils Can't Hang On.
Despite another well played game of hockey, our Midget LL Ice Devils were unable to hold onto a 3rd period lead, losing 7-5 to South Muskoka on Sunday in Bracebridge.
After surrendering the opening goal, Travis Tebby tied the game mid though the 1st before South Muskoka added another for a 2-1 lead.
A wild 2nd period scramble in front of the Bears goal saw Emma Story crash the net and jam in her first of the season to tie the game at two. Almaguin would add two more in the period (on goals by Brett Joiner and Josh Berry), to take a 4-3 lead to the final frame.
South Muskoka stormed back with a four goal 3rd, before Brett Joiner rounded out the Almaguin scoring with his 2nd of the night. Devon Shuker, Noah Haggart, Matt Webster and Aidan Carleton picked up assist's on the Ice Devils goals.
