Joiner Scores 4, But Almaguin Can't Hold On.
Playing his final game of the season, ​Almaguin Captain Brett Joiner saved his best for last, scoring 4 times and adding 1 assist as the Midget LL Ice Devils fell 10-5 to South Muskoka on Thursday night in Bracebridge.

The visitors scored first on two Joiner first period goals before South Muskoka were able to reply, to hold a 2-1 lead after one.

The 2nd period saw the teams trade goals with Almaguin's marker coming off the stick of Sabastian Patterson, from Brett Joiner and Noah Haggart, allowing Almaguin to cling to a narrow 3-2 lead heading to the 3rd.

The 3rd period was all South Muskoka​, as the home team would score 6 straight goals and 8 in​ the period to run the score to the 10-5 final.  Almaguin did manage 2 in the final frame, both by Joiner with assists to Daniel Shuker and Sabastian Patterson, who enjoyed a 4 point night of his own (1G, 3A).
