At Last!!!
Two Sabastian Patterson short-handed goals were all that were needed for our Midget LL Ice Devils to secure that elusive first win of the season!
A season full of hard work and close games finally went our way on Sunday afternoon with a well deserved 2-1 win over Huntsville Canadian Tire.
As defenceman Chandler Bos served a 2-minute body contact minor, Almaguin struck first, mid-way through the opening period with a short-handed goal off the stick of captain Sab Patterson (assisted by Dennis Luckasavitch).
With Emma Story and Wyatt Stetler both in the Almaguin sin-bin, the hometown Ice Devils would increase the lead to 2-0 late in the 2nd on a beautiful tape-to-tape pass from Liam Zurbrigg-Tutt to send Patterson in alone for his second "shorty" of the game.

Goaltender Jacob DiSomma and a determined Almaguin team were able to hold off a hard charging Huntsville team in the 3rd to hang on to the victory!
