We just wanted to take a minute to say thank you again to all of our players, parents and volunteers for this past season. We had an awesome parent group!

Our annual year end Local League Banquet was held on Tuesday 14 April in South River. The evening was a great success and saw a few of our midget players earn some hardware. Congratulations to Stephanie Young (Midget most improved), Liam Zurbrigg-Tutt (most sportsmanlike), Noah Haggart (most dedicated) and of course, Noah's father Dennis Haggart on bringing home the inaugural Mike Clarke Award for volunteer of the year and Jacob DiSomma for his Joe Martin Award win. Much desereved by all.

The 2014-15 Local League Banquet will be held on Tuesday April 14th, upstairs at the South River Machar Arena. A brief itinerary of the evening can be found below;

Our Midget Local League Ice Devils wrapped up a challenging 2014-15 season on March 19-20 at a well hosted tournament in Orillia ON.  Losing 9-0 vs Kingston Holy Name Hurricanes and 9-0 vs Alliston TNT Tornado's on Thursday, Almaguin fared better on Friday, dropping a 4-1 game to the Caledonia Thunder. The lone Ice Devils goal of the tournament was scored by Josh Berry, with assists to Travis Tebby and Riley Dunn. Despite the on ice results, hopefully a great time was had by players and parents.

Another good game of hockey on Wednesday evening saw our Midget Local League Ice Devils come up just short as South Muskoka doubled up Almaguin 4-2 to take the bronze medal in this season's MPS wrap-up in Huntsville.
