Midget Local League, 2015-2016 Season (Almaguin Minor Hockey)

On Sunday May 15th the Almaguin Minor Hockey Association celebrated the 2015-16 season with a pot-luck lunch and awards banquet at the Burk's Falls Arena.

Almaguin forward Lindsay Young tallied a 3 assist night, while her sister Stephanie added 2 of her own to compliment her excellent defensive play as Almaguin fell 7-6 in a high scoring exhibition tilt on Sunday night in Gravenhurst.

This past weekend saw most of our local centre's hosting the first ever Muskoka Parry Sound Local League Championship Weekend, with Almaguin hosting the Midget Division at SSJ Arena in Sundridge. The day provided some very entertaining hockey, culminating with Parry Sound 2 taking home the gold. Congratulations to Head Coach Dan Hildebrandt and all the Parry Sound Players.

Sunday afternoon at SSJ saw our Midget LL Ice Devils wrap up the regular season with re-match with the seasoning opening opponent South Muskoka Bears.
